It's so annoying when products disappoint. Great post though :) xxBeth Thttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15715503677196734996noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1925975898401078102.post-84894987554889186452014-07-12T11:58:37.620+01:002014-07-12T11:58:37.620+01:00I actually went to my stash to look at the things ...I actually went to my stash to look at the things and have a think, but I couldn't come up with too many products (mostly because I don't hold onto the disappointing stuff for long.)

I think the biggest stand-out was an MUA palette I'd gotten. Not exactly a big loss, considering they're only £4, but I'd heard good things about the brand and thought it might be nice to try out their Matte Ever After shadows. Unfortunately, they were exactly what you might expect from a £4 eyeshadow palette. (My experience with MUA is largely the reason why I haven't yet given into the Make-Up Revolution hype.)

Another product in general which I've been disappointed by, on numerous occasions, is kohl eyeliner. The liquid kind, I can make work, if I find a good brand (The Body Shop, oddly enough, have some really good ones) but the pencil variety never fails to make me look like a Burton movie cast-off. I've tried primer, I've tried different brands, I've tried smudging and blending, and my only conclusion is that I just can't pull it off.

I think 3 products to be disappointed in, especially if you're a beauty blogger, aren't too bad, though! I'd say it's a fairly lucky streak. :)Alphonsinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13066241789183392888noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1925975898401078102.post-50450900190360804092014-07-12T11:30:46.963+01:002014-07-12T11:30:46.963+01:00I've always wondered about the S&G plumpin...I've always wondered about the S&G plumping lip gloss and whether it actually worked, thanks for clearing that up for me!

The Velvet Black // UK Style, Beauty and Lifestyle Blog
alicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07159304055705412480noreply@blogger.com
